I’ve GOT to do this someday!

In Soccer Videos, Weird Stuff on September 20, 2008 at 9:58 pm

I’m a sneaky player – but not as sneaky as the player you’re about to see.

Since seeing this video, I’ve been looking for an opportunity to pull this one on a goalie!

Remind Me to Never Play Soccer in Japan

In Soccer Videos, Weird Stuff on August 20, 2008 at 9:09 pm

I’ve played soccer when it was 104 degrees outside.

I’ve played soccer in a rain storm.

I’ve even played soccer while it was sleeting.

But I’ve never played with a tornado on the field…

Best Indoor Goal – Ever

In Indoor Soccer, Soccer Videos on July 20, 2008 at 8:53 pm

As most know – I love indoor soccer.

If I ever make a goal like this – I pray that someone has a video camera pointed at me.

Another Reason I’ll Never Be a Goalie

In Goalies' Page, Soccer Videos on June 20, 2008 at 8:27 pm

I love penalty kicks – as long as I’m the one kicking the ball.

The goalie in this video makes a save – but I’m not sure if it was worth it. Ouch!

I Bet Your Goalie Can’t Do This!

In Goalies' Page, Soccer Videos on May 20, 2008 at 8:18 pm

I’ll never be a goalie.

I don’t like people firing 80 mph shots at me from 10 feet away. I’ll admit it – it scares me. Plus, I like my face – just the way it is.

You’ll be amazed by the save by the goalie in this video.

Funny Street Soccer Pranks

In Soccer Videos, Weird Stuff on April 20, 2008 at 8:00 pm

This is a funny video of a guy in France who kicks soccer balls into some funny places. I wouldn’t try this – unless you have a lot of spare soccer balls and you can run faster than almost everyone you know!

WARNING:Turn your volume down before you view the video. The song that plays in the background will drive you crazy.

My Hero: Ronaldinho

In Soccer Videos on December 15, 2007 at 8:41 pm

Whenever I’m playing soccer – Ronaldinho is always with me. Whenever I don’t know what to do with the ball, I think about moves I’ve seen Ronaldinho make – and give it a try. Sometimes it takes practicing the move one hundred times before I get it right. Ronaldinho shows you that you CAN do anything in soccer. Anything is possible. Just watch this video and you’ll know what I mean.

Hey Santa…How About FIFA 2008

In Soccer Videos on November 11, 2007 at 8:11 pm

If I’m not playing soccer, or watching games on the Fox Soccer Channel – you can find me playing FIFA 2007. Well, Santa, it’s about time for an upgrade. If you’ve never played this game – you’ve GOT to get it. This game rocks!

Here is a video on FIFA 2008. The graphics are a lot better and now you can choose from over 300 teams.

Offsides: The Most Confusing Rule for Parents

In Soccer Rules, Soccer Videos on September 8, 2007 at 8:12 pm

My dad did not play soccer when he was a kid. According to him, when he was 10 year old kid, (in 1968) there were no soccer teams or leagues in his hometown and he had never met anyone who had ever played the game. Poor guy.

Anyway, he now understands most soccer rules – but he still doesn’t understand offsides. And from what he says, most “ancient parents” like him don’t have a clue either. So, parents out there, this video is for you.

How to do the Rainbow

In Soccer Videos on August 25, 2007 at 10:00 am

My friend Elijah taught me how to do the Rainbow. It’s not all that practical in a game – but it’s very fun to do. Take a look at this video (about a dozen times) and then give it a try. It took me about 300 times before I ever did it like you see on the video. Even after you do it once, it will still take lots of practice to do it right – most of the time. I’m not at that point – but I’m on my way!
